Varning för fangirls!

Vår ("vi" är i detta fall Alba, Karin och Madelen) senaste favoritserie ärr BBC's Sherlock Holmes. Den utspelar sig i modern tid och har massor med fantastiska referenser till böckerna. Jag påpekar naturligtvis allihop när vi tittar på avsnitten.

Sen gick det överstyr på något sätt. Vi är i alla fall övertygade om att Sherlock och John borde finnas på riktigt. Och hälsa på oss.



The lake just by the school has sunk away, leaving long stretches of sand bare. John doesn’t think much of it, until Sherlock points out that there should be no tides here. The explanation involves rivers and locks and Sherlock deciding that they absolutely must investigate it closer.
Out on the wet sand they walk. Sherlock and John get to borrow rubber boots that are spattered with clay inside and out. Sherlock gets wet within five minutes anyway, kneeling down to get a closer look at one of the small melt water streams.
Before John can stop them, Karin and Sherlock are involved in some game of daring, wading out in the water where ice still floats around their feet. Neither of them seems willing to be the first to stop, even when the water reaches over the edges of their boots and then up to their knees.
“Sherlock, really”, John calls after them.
This draws the attention of Alba and Madelen.
“Not again!” Alba says, and they walk out to haul Karin back.
Sherlock doesn’t even notice, fully occupied with his phone.
“I just want to find out if I could walk to the other side”, he protests when Alba ventures back out again to drag him back to the shore.
